I am really grateful to have Esther’s help in finding a home. I was evicted due to a layoff, and was getting rejected by every apartment I applied to. I really needed a home, and was living in a hotel, and renting rooms from strangers. After several months doing it on my own, paying expensive application fees, and wasting a lot of time, I finally broke down and hired a leasing agent. Esther worked alongside me for 2 months searching apartments, responding promptly to my request, and making dozens of calls on my behalf. I was starting to feel hopeless and scared, but Esther always had a new idea or strategy for us to try. She finally identified a complex that approved my application without absorbent fees and deposits. I found a home where I can work, and feel safe. I stopped thinking it was possible anymore.  Without Esther’s help, I may not have ever been able to find a place without spending hundreds of dollars and weeks on dead end searches.. Esther has been patient and responsive even when I was stressed. I highly recommend Esther for someone that needs to find a home.
