Good morning, Leyma,

I finally have some time at 2:53am to sit, have a cup of coffee and write this much deserved email.

I want to extend my deepest gratitude to Leyma and Marie for their incredible dedication, hard work, and patience throughout this journey. When I first learned about the Second Chance Program, I was skeptical—especially because of the fee involved. I feared it might be another empty promise, and that nothing would come from the list of apartments I was encouraged to apply for.

To my surprise, the response was immediate. I received a list of potential homes faster than I ever expected. Even more astonishing, the very first property I contacted—Villa Buena—already knew my story. My husband and I have struggled for years due to poor credit and a bankruptcy on our record. Time and again, we were turned away despite having the financial means to pay rent. The rejection emails became routine, and the frustration of being denied despite being ready and able to move was overwhelming.

But then came Angelina from Villa Buena. When she said, “There is a way,” I felt something I hadn’t felt in a long time—hope. The property was not only beautiful, it was far beyond anything I ever imagined we could qualify for. I had to pause and cry because it felt too good to be true.

This program has truly transformed our family’s life. I am beyond grateful to Leyma, Marie, and everyone involved. May God bless you abundantly for the work you do. I will absolutely be recommending this program to others who feel like they’ve run out of options.
