I want to give a big shout of & thank you to Ms. Esther. She was a wonderful help & person to have working to help find me a new home. The last time I had an apartment was four years ago, freshly out of college trying to hold my own weight. I had a few issues I could not handle on my own so I had no choice to move. I was hoping around to different places trying to make a living for myself and I could not bear to not have my own space. I ended up getting an another apartment last year and was dealing with a tough time losing my grandma & not long after that having to let go of my job at the hospital. I was just 20 years old at this point trying to start over for myself. Where I was living last year I  was not happy with how management did not have my apartment ready and I had some issues with flooding. Then moved me to an another unit that had issues as well no safe environment. I had no choice but to go to work to show my evidence and tell my slide but the apartments still wanted me out. Me and my sister were out of a home and was struggling really bad until we moved in with her mom. I was only without a job for a month and being in the health field starting off early as 18, getting my first hospital job for three years and without a job for a month I was able to get hired as a certified traveling medical assistant through my job. Traveling around to local areas, getting back into school and making a living. My  sister finally was able to find a place so we moved  in together. Seeing god allowing us to take our next few steps to a good path was amazing. The lease was coming to an end and we both agreed to move back into our own spaces. My friend at the time informed me about a place called a second chance. I never heard of the company before but she told me it was a good company and go check out. So last month I called in and paid my deposit to get my process started. I was very anxious and worried that I probably wasn’t going to be able to find something in a good timely manner due to me thinking I had and eviction. I found out my background was clear, my credit scores went up. I requested a new case manager to work quickly with me on this because I felt like it was a 50/50. Ester gave me a call to info me she was my new case manager and was able to clam me down in the process to Iet me know she was going to find me a home. She sent me two links and I told her let’s processed. One of them she was able to get in touch with a day later and the other one she had to leave a voicemail. After she got in touch with me apartments she updated me within 24 hours and told me there requirements. I went ahead and did my application. Me and Esther stayed in touched since last Tuesday eagerly waiting my results. During this time frame I found out I have cardiac arrhythmia and have strongly been praying to god asking him to allow me to be back in my own space for my health and a fresh new start. On 9/30/24 I received a call being informed I was approved for my new home ! It took from 09/18/24 to 9/30/24 for Esther to find me a new home. I was thanking god for allowing Esther to help me having a second chance at living back on my own again after four years of running around & from last year. I thank you Esther for your hard work & encouragement. You have allowed me to live a second chance for a fresh new start ! I highly recommend anyone going through what may seem like a hard time to go through a second chance.
